The Sloan Research Fellowships from The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation support tenure-track faculty in the USA and Canada. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in chemistry, computer science, Earth system science, economics, mathematics, neuroscience, physics, or a related field. In order to be considered for a Sloan Research Fellowship, a candidate must have a letter of nomination from a department head or other senior researcher.
The award provides 75,000 USD for 2 years and does not cover overheads.
