The Advancing innovative interventions for mental, behavioural and neurodevelopmental disorders call for proposals from Horizon Europe seeks proposals that develop and evaluate novel interventions aimed at improving prevention, diagnosis, treatment, or management of the disorders. Proposals should encompass a range of research stages. Emphasis is placed on interventions that address unmet medical needs and demonstrate potential for significant impact on patient outcomes. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the development of effective, evidence-based interventions that can be integrated into healthcare systems to alleviate the burden of mental, behavioural, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
This topic requires the effective contribution of social sciences and humanities (SSH) disciplines and the involvement of SSH experts, institutions as well as the inclusion of relevant SSH expertise. Also, the inclusion of patients or patient organisations in the research process is strongly encouraged to ensure that their perspectives are adequately represented.
Collaborative project proposals must involve a minimum of three independent legal entities from three different eligible countries in Europe and countries associated with the Horizon Europe program, plus low and middle-income countries.
The funding provides up to 8 million EUR for up to 5 years.
