The Clinical Research Training Scholarship in Peripheral Neuropathy, funded by the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy and administered by the American Brain Foundation, supports early-career researchers who are studying disease mechanisms, diagnosis, or treatment of peripheral neuropathy and whose research has potential relevance beyond peripheral neuropathy to other diseases.
Applications are open to researchers worldwide with an MD, PhD, or equivalent terminal-level clinical or research degree who have completed a clinical residency or a PhD within the past 4 years. Applicants must have at least 50% time dedicated to research (protected time). Candidates at accredited US and international institutions are eligible to apply. There is no citizenship requirement.
The funding provides 150,000 USD over two years, for direct costs only.
