Doctoral Scholarships (neuroscience | New Zealand citizens)

Neurological Foundation, New Zealand

The Doctoral Scholarships from the Neurological Foundation, New Zealand provide personal support for students undertaking a PhD in basic or clinical neuroscience in a New Zealand university. Applicants must be:

  • New Zealand citizens or permanent residents
  • Students completing an Honours or Masters degree, with the intention of enrolling in a PhD
  • Students who have already enrolled in a PhD

The funding provides an annual tax-free stipend for up to 3 years of full-time enrollment, 5,000 NZD towards working expenses associated with the doctoral research and University fees. The maximum value is three years of tax-free stipend ($147,000 total), course fees, and 5,000 NZD research working expenses.
