The Innovator Award from the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) supports senior researchers pursuing high-impact research into OCD worldwide. The goal is to support innovative and potentially groundbreaking projects — high-impact science that could profoundly impact the field and accelerate progress toward new and more effective treatments for OCD. The 2026 Topic of Interest is Addressing the OCD Care Crisis for All.
Applicants must have at least five years of research experience following the completion of their terminal degree. Eligible research projects must investigate topics in the field of OCD, with a focus on finding a cure for OCD. These may include prevention (i.e., keeping OCD from taking hold) and treatment (i.e., effectively achieving a significant reduction in symptoms or remission). Any senior researcher pursuing a relevant project is eligible to apply.
The funding provides up to 300,000 USD over 3 years.
Applications open on February 17, 2026, and close on April 14, 2026.
