The Lundbeck Foundation Investigator Network (Denmark | neuroscience)

Lundbeck Foundation

The Lundbeck Foundation Investigator Network supports the development of working relationships among neuroscientists in Denmark. Members of LFIN will also receive training in topics that are relevant for their career and personal development. Benefits for being part of the network include:

  • LFIN will foster the establishment of collaborations and relationships enabling network members to tackle new neuroscience research questions requiring a multidisciplinary approach.
  • LFIN members will be eligible to apply for dedicated seed funding to support collaborative and interdisciplinary projects within the network.
  • Members will receive training related to their scientific career. The nature of the training will be chosen by LFIN members. Examples of training could include workshops on grant writing, giving job talks, lab leadership and management, commercialisation of ideas, non-academic career paths, public engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • LFIN members will organise scientific meetings enabling network members to engage with the broader national and international neuroscience community.

LFIN members participate in two two-day meetings per year. One meeting focusses on soft skills and career training, and the other meeting takes the form of a scientific conference with a neuroscience focus. LFIN members also arrange scientific outreach events throughout the year for the public. Members will cover the cost of travel to and from these meetings while all other costs are covered by the Foundation.

Applications are due April 9, 2024.
