Chandramouli (“Chand”) Chandrasekaran is assistant professor of psychological and brain sciences, and of anatomy and neurobiology, at Boston University. His lab investigates the neural basis of decision-making, cognition and motor control in macaque monkeys using a combination of behavioral, electrophysiological, optogenetic and computational techniques. 

Chandrasekaran holds a B.Tech in information technology from the University of Madras, a M.Sc. in neural and behavioral sciences from the University of Tübingen, an M.A. in psychology and a Ph.D. in psychology and neuroscience, both from Princeton University. He was a postdoctoral fellow with the late Krishna Shenoy at Stanford University.
