John Pearson is associate professor of neurobiology at Duke University, where his lab focuses on theoretical and computational neuroscience, with applications to vision, motor control and natural behavior.

He earned his Ph.D. in physics at Princeton University and was a postdoctoral researcher and research assistant professor at Duke before joining the faculty in 2018.
