Paul Frankland is a senior scientist in the Neurosciences & Mental Health program at the Hospital for Sick Children. He is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. He holds a Canada Research Chair in Cognitive Neurobiology and is professor in the Department of Psychology, Department of Physiology and Institute of Medical Science at the University of Toronto. He is also a member of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR) in the program for Child and Brain Development.
Frankland completed his B.A. (honors) in psychology at the University of Sheffield and his Ph.D. in neuroscience at the University of Toronto. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and the University of California, Los Angeles.
