Keerthana Iyer is partnerships and development manager at the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS), where she leads initiatives to expand global engagement and research equity through the ALBA Network, FENS’ inclusive science division. Her work focuses on building partnerships and designing equitable frameworks that broaden access to scientific opportunities for underserved communities worldwide.
Iyer earned a B.Sc. in zoology at the University of Madras, an M.Sc. in human genetics at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research in India, and a Ph.D. in developmental neuroscience at Sorbonne University, conducting her doctoral research at the Collège de France. Before joining FENS, she worked at the AP-HP Université Paris-Saclay Rare Disease Expertise Platform on EU cross-border healthcare coordination and patient advocacy.
