Violetta Zujovic

Violetta Zujovic is a team leader and scientific manager at the Paris Brain Institute. She is serving as the 2025-2026 chair of the ALBA Network. Her research focuses on the immune system’s role in myelin repair, which is a key factor in neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis and certain leukodystrophies.

Zujovic completed her Ph.D. in neurosciences at Paris-East Créteil University in 2001. She did her postdoctoral training in the pharmacology department at the University of Florida, followed by postdoctoral work at INSERM. In 2011, she was appointed principal investigator at INSERM and joined the Paris Brain Institute to pursue her research.
